SUPERSUPER FAQ

SUPERSUPER™ Overview and Frequently Asked Questions

General

What is SUPERSUPER™?

SUPERSUPER™ is a shopping rewards program exclusive to Guild Retirement Fund members (including Guild Super, Child Care Super, and Guild Pension) where cash rewards are paid into your super account when you make purchases with Retail Partners through the SUPERSUPER™ portal. Each time you shop with SUPERSUPER™ a percentage of the amount spent gets contributed to your account. For example, if you spend $100 at a participating retailer offering a 5% reward, $5 will be added to your super account.

How much does SUPERSUPER™ cost?

You don’t pay any fees for joining or using SUPERSUPER™.

Who can join SUPERSUPER™?

All members of the Guild Retirement Fund who are eligible to receive non-concessional contributions can join, including Guild Super and Child Care Super divisions.

To be eligible to receive SUPERSUPER™ rewards you must be eligible to receive non-concessional contributions to your super account, sometimes referred to as ‘after-tax contributions’. Non-concessional contributions can only be paid if you have provided your Tax File Number (TFN) to the fund and are less than 75 years of age. Please see more about non-concessional contributions on the ATO website.

How do I join SUPERSUPER™?

Log into your GuildSuper or Child Care Super account and navigate to Grow My Super > Rewards Program, then follow the instructions.

Where can I earn rewards?

You can earn rewards at a range of Retail Partners. Retailers and offers are subject to change but you can see the most up to date list by logging in to SUPERSUPER™, or give us a call for more information.

How you shop to earn rewards depends on the retailer. Retailers offer a selection of:

  1. eVouchers, typically available for use instantly after purchase,

  2. Physical card vouchers which will be mailed to you, or

  3. Online shopping with a selection of Online Partners.

All purchases must be made via the SUPERSUPER™ portal to be eligible for Rewards.

How much will I be rewarded?

The reward contribution is a percentage of the amount you spend and varies from store to store, for example:

  • Woolworths - 4% Contributed to your Super

  • Coles - 4% Contributed to your Super

  • Target - 5% Contributed to your Super

  • Amazon - 3% Contributed to your Super

  • JB Hi-Fi - 4.5% Contributed to your Super

Depending on the store, you can shop online, or by purchasing physical or digital gift cards which you can then use at your convenience. Before shopping, please check the SUPERSUPER™ portal for current offers.

Where can I see a list of my rewards transactions?

You can see your transaction history in the SUPERSUPER™ portal. Log in to your super account and then navigate to SUPERSUPER™ to see details of your Activity.

Successfully tracked transactions may take up to 7 business days to display within your Activity section.

How long does it take for rewards to be deposited into my super account?

Accumulated rewards are paid to the fund on a monthly basis and will generally be credited to your account within 10 business days.

Online Partners typically confirm accumulated rewards eligibility with SUPERSUPER™ after the end of the Online Partner’s returns period (which may be up to 120 days).

Online Shopping

The Online Shopping platform provided as part of the program allows you to earn rewards on purchases made with various Online Partners. Once you click ‘Shop Now’ on a retailer in the SUPERSUPER™ portal you’ll be transferred to the Online Partner’s website for you to transact.

We are not responsible for keeping track of your contributions and should you exceed any contribution cap in any given financial year, you are liable to pay any associated taxes.
